Reinhard Kannonier (* 1947) has been Associate Professor at the Institute of Modern and Contemporary History of the University of Linz since 1981. From 1987 to 1990, he was Musical Director of the Brucknerhaus. From 1992 to 1993, he resided in Florence to research at the European University Institute (Jean Monnet).
Numerous publications, lectures, symposiums in Austria and abroad, focused primarily on European culture and art, music, comparative urbanism research. He is Scientific Director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Social and Cultural History, and he runs the institute together with Rudolf Ardelt and Helmut Konrad. |
